Product details & kit contents

Give the records you play—and the ones you keep—a proper clean.

The Mikah Vinyl Record Cleaning Kit combines a replaceable velvet cleaning pad with vacuum extraction to remove used cleaning fluid and loosened dirt from your 12-inch LPs. Connect the brush to a compatible 1.5-inch vacuum hose. It’s built for people who care about how their records sound and look. Dust, lint, and debris in the grooves cause surface noise and wear

Made for DJs and Collectors Alike

  • For collectors: Keep your library clean and ready to play, from a prized first pressing to a dusty crate-digging find.
  • For DJs: Prep records before a set, and keep your crate in shape between gigs. The pocket dust brush is small enough for quick touch-ups in the booth.
  • For everyone in between: If you own a turntable and a vacuum cleaner, you can use it at home.

Whether you’re cleaning secondhand finds, preparing vinyl for your next DJ set, or caring for a collection at home, Mikah brings vacuum record cleaning to a compact tool without a separate motorized cleaning machine.

Why choose Mikah?

  • Vacuum extraction: removes used cleaning solution and loosened contaminants from the playing surface.

  • Replaceable velvet pad: refresh the cleaning surface without replacing the brush.

  • Center-spindle guide: helps position the brush while you rotate the record manually.

  • Compact design: easy to store alongside your record-care accessories.

  • Made in the USA: created by a DJ and producer for people who play and collect vinyl.

How it works

Remove loose dust with the pocket brush. Apply record-safe cleaning solution and gently work it around the grooves with the velvet pad, keeping the label dry. Connect your compatible vacuum, support the hose, and rotate the record by hand to extract the used fluid. Follow your solution’s rinsing instructions and allow the record to dry completely before playback.

Compatibility: designed for 12-inch vinyl records and a compatible 1.5-inch vacuum hose. A vacuum suitable for liquid pickup is required for extraction. Vacuum, hose, turntable, and records are not included. Cleaning removes dirt and residue; it does not repair scratches or worn grooves.

Equipment & compatibility

Designed for 12-inch vinyl records. Use a compatible 1.5-inch hose and a wet/dry vacuum suitable for liquid pickup. Support the hose and rotate the record by hand with light pressure.

Vacuum, hose, turntable, and records are not included.

Cleaning & pad care

Brush off loose dust before wet cleaning. Keep the label dry and follow the cleaning fluid’s rinsing instructions. Allow the record to dry completely before playback. Inspect the velvet for grit before every use.

Replace a worn pad by peeling it off and pressing a fresh self-adhesive pad into place.
